QUALITY LOCAL MATERIALS & CRAFTMANSHIP
We are proud to set ourselves apart from other cabinetry companies with the inclusion of our showroom. Located at 769 Main street in Kingston, Nova Scotia, hours of operation are from 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. Our showroom includes several styles of cabinetry, wood varieties, finishes, cabinetry features, countertop samples and hardware. Walk-ins are welcome or feel free to call ahead.
We are proud to provide an all-wood product built here in Nova Scotia. We do not use pressboard or melamine in our cabinetry. Built with only the finest hardwoods and
solid-core plywood. Currently we offer cabinets built with red or white oak, maple, birch, cherry, walnut and ash. If you have another variety of hardwood in mind, we can do our best to source it for you.
All the drawers are solid hardwood, mortised and dovetailed with the finest craftsmanship.
VISIT OUR SHOWROOM
Are you building a new home or renovating and wondering how to start? Come visit our showroom. As you enter our showroom you will be greeted by our friendly & knowledgeable staff who are eager to discuss your plans and guide you through the decision-making process.
We encourage you to bring any materials which help convey your vision. These include floor plans, measurements, pictures of your existing space and pictures that have inspired you. Come prepared to answer questions regarding how you use your space, what you love, what you dislike, etc. Feel free to email all materials relevant to starting your project as well.
DESIGN & QUOTE
After a few days you can expect to receive a quote from us based on the information learned during our visit or correspondence with you. Quotes are always free and revisable as decisions are made throughout the process. If you approve of the quote, Karl will contact you directly to schedule a visit to your home.
During this visit you will have one-on-one time with him to discuss a plan while he measures your space. He will also start the first of hand-drawn cabinetry renderings for your review. These drawings help finalize design features, layouts, appliances, outlet and plumbing locations.
PRODUCTION
After Karl meets with you at your home he will sit down and hand draw renderings of your cabinetry. These will be sent to you for review and approval, along with an updated quote that reflects any changes discussed during the meeting at your home. Upon the approval of the renderings, Karl will schedule shop time for your cabinetry to be built. You may also be returning to visit our showroom to discuss countertops and hardware to finish your concept. Please feel free to also bring any materials such as flooring and paint samples to match
your colours.
INSTALLATION
Once your cabinetry is built it will be moved into our paint shop for finishing. Finally your cabinetry is loaded onto our trailer and installation day arrives! Installation times vary in accordance with the scope of the project. Often installation is complete within a day but can take multiple days depending on the size of your project.
Then comes the best part, you get to enjoy your new space!
